John Garvey has raised the following general concerns about the direction of the Turbine Assessment instrument:
"* departure from the standard
* introducing arithmetic
questions relating to cooling towers (questionable if in keeping with standard)
* departure from operation
* introducing design information
* introducing academic theory as opposed to operation
* removal of turbine types
* introducing industry specific questions
* introducing machine specific questions"
