(From Sankar at SafeWork Australia): "• The performance assessment for both instruments refer to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) (questions numbers can not be indentified as the questions have not been given (page 46 of steam engine and page 45 of turbine)), and they ask a candidate to locate the MSDS at their workplace. Does this imply that the assessment can only take place where the candidate works? If it doesn’t, how can the assessor be sure that the candidate is providing the correct answer as to where they are located in his/her workplace without consulting someone in charge of said workplace?
We feel that it may be better if this question required a candidate to look at a MSDS and provide responses to the question that have been provided.

Assessment Steam Turbine Ver 4.04 has been modified to read:
"You have been provided with a copy of a typical MSDS that might apply to your workplace. Indicate to your assessor:...."
